THE JOY OF GIVING – TIME, TALENT & TITHE
Fundraising to enable the local Church to provide future Shepherds to take care of her living Shepherds is absolute necessary.
The Diocesan Development Fund, the Priests’ Health and Retirement Fund and the Priests: Training and Ongoing Formation Fund were set up to look after the unique and real needs of the Diocese of Oudtshoorn as a whole, especially the training of future priests and the care of her retired priests, a moral imperative and our Christian duty.
We greatly appreciate your interest in the Priests: Training and Ongoing Formation Fund. Should you be interested in exploring ways to make a gift or donation or a pledge, kindly contact the Diocesan Financial Administrator to learn more.
Priests: Training and Ongoing Formation Fund
The Church needs pastoral, compassionate and well-trained priests now more than ever. Our young priests will walk with us through the most important moments of our lives, lending their wisdom and support. It is our responsibility to train them well.
Gifts to the Priests: Training and Ongoing Formation Fund, funds the formation of our seminarians at the National Seminary, St. John Vianney Seminary in Pretoria, Gauteng and enable our serving priests to receive needed ongoing formation. Your contributions to this collection will make a significant impact on the formation of future seminarians as they prepare for ordination and service as parish priests, as well as keeping our serving priests ‘in the loop’ and informed.
If you can and wish to make a gift or donation or a pledge, be it once off or recurring, towards the Priests: Training and Ongoing Formation Fund, kindly contact the Diocesan Financial Administrator who will gladly assist you.
