Parish support
Parishes rely on the generosity of their members to cover expenses related to ministry, maintenance, staffing, community outreach programs and other pressing needs of each parish. Unfortunately not all of our parishes and outstations are in a position to meet all of their financial needs, and the Diocesan Development Fund assists as and when it is possible.
If you can in anyway, pledged your financial support to your parish. We would encourage you to if a pledge programme exists in your parish or community to please make use of it and know that your gift will enable your local parish to continue the work of teaching who Christ is, to renew God’s Church, to educate, and to provide a spiritual haven and place of worship for the local community.
If you have any questions or concerns about parish support, speak to your parish priest, the chair of the parish finance council or contact the Diocesan Financial Officer who will gladly assist you.

Parogies maak staat op die vrygewigheid van hul lede om uitgawes te dek wat verband hou met bediening, instandhouding, personeel, gemeenskapsuitreikprogramme en ander dringende behoeftes van elke parogie. Ongelukkig is nie al ons gemeentes en buitestasies in ‘n posisie om aan al hulle finansiële behoeftes te voldoen nie, en dieBisdomlike Ontwikkelingsfonds help soos en wanneer dit moontlik is.
As jy in enigsins kan, maak ‘n steunbelofte om jou finansiële steun vir jou parogie te bevestig, veral daar waar ‘n steunbelofte program in die parogie van gebruik gemaak word. Weet dat u bydrae jou plaaslike gemeente in staat sal stel om die werk van verkondiging wie Christus is voort te sit, om God se Kerk te hernu, om op te voed en ‘n geestelike hawe en plek van aanbidding vir die plaaslike gemeenskap te voorsien.
